XL is an independent British record label its headquarters can be found in London. XL was founded in 1989 by Tim Palmer and Nick Halkes. However from 1996 onwards Richard Russel has ran the company. XL is best known for its artist such as Adele, The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal, Vampire weekend, The White Stripes and many more. They release albums world wide including genres such as pop and grime. XL has released a total of 9 albums including: XX, Ok Computer, Anima, 25 and more. Despite only releasing a few albums XL recording made £67 mil in 2017.
